11 - Summonte. Next they brought the pasta. It was shaped like calamari rings
(and we later saw some in a shop and it was labelled "calamari") with
a sauce of 9 vegetables, chopped very fine and sauteed in olive oil with a little
cheese grated in. We identified eggplant, artichokes, fennel, leeks, tomatoes,
zucchini, sweet red peppers, and possibly mushrooms and onions. It was without
a doubt the best pasta I've ever had.
